News Desk: United Nations and World Community Should set up 10000 Capacity Disaster Clinics at District level in all Countries of the World Including India. On World Tsunami Awareness Day, Satyagraha Research Foundation and Various Social organizations Appealed to all Countries of the world including India. Today, on 5th November 2022, A Grand programme was organized on the occasion of World Tsunami Awareness Day, in which representatives of Various Social organizations, intellectuals and Students Participated. On this occasion, Sarva Dharma Prarthana Sabha(All Religions prayer Meeting)was organized for the first in honor of the People who died in Various Natural Calamities all over the world. On this occasion, International Peace Ambassador cum Secretary General Satyagraha Research Foundation Dr. Ajaz Ahmad Advocate, Dr. Suresh Kumar Agarwal Chancellor Pragyan International University Jharkhand, Dr. Shahnawaz Ali, Dr. Amit Kumar Lohia, Senior Advocate Shambhu Sharan Shukla, Social Activist Navindu Chaturvedi, West Champaran Kala Manch. Convenor Shaheen Parveen, Dr. Mehbobur Rahman and Editor of Al Bayan, Dr. Salaam jointly said that World Tsunami Awareness Day is day to spread awareness about the deadly Natural disaster. On this occasion, Dr. Ajaz Ahmad Advocate, Dr. Suresh Kumar Agrawal Chancellor, Pragyan International University, Jharkhand Called upon the United Nations and all the Countries of the World to say that 10000 Capacity at the District level to avoid natural disasters in all the Countries of the world including India. Aapda clinic (Disaster Clinic)should be set up so that people can be saved in the time of Natural Calamities. This small effort by the United Nations and various Countries of the world to avoid Natural disasters will prove to be Milestone.

Every year on 5 November, World Tsunami Awareness Day is observed to raise tsunami awareness and share innovative approaches to risk reduction. In the past 100 years, tsunamis have killed more than 2,60,000 people. The Indian Ocean tsunami in December 2004 Caused the Most damage to life. "Rising sea levels due to Climate change" will further increase the risk associated with tsunamis, with an emphasis on limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees. The World Tsunami Awareness Day 'Sendai Seven Campaign' will promote Target (F). The Campaign aims to 'substantially increase international Cooperation for developing Countries through adequate and lasting support to meet their National tasks for the implementation of the Current Sendai Framework by 2030'. Calls upon all Countries, international bodies, Civil society to share innovative approaches to enhance understanding of tsunamis and reduce risks. In the last 100 years, more than 2,60,000 people have lost their lives in 58 tsunamis. It Causes an average of 4,600 deaths per tsunami, which is more than the death toll for any other Natural hazard. However, tsunamis are rare events but can be extremely destructive. The Indian Ocean tsunami in December 2004 killed 2,27,000 people in 14 countries, with India, Sri Lanka and Thailand being the most affected.

A growing understanding of tsunamis and innovative approaches to mitigating risks is of increasing importance as increased tourism and rapid urbanization in tsunami-prone areas are putting more people at risk. By 2030, an estimated 50 percent of the world's population is expected to live in coastal areas that will expose them to tsunamis, floods and hurricanes. Therefore, increasing international cooperation with developing countries will ensure that 100 percent of these communities in tsunami prone areas will be tsunami prepared and resilient by 2030. On this occasion the speakers said that In December 2015, the United Nations General Assembly declared 5 November as World Tsunami Awareness Day. The United Nations Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDDR) facilitates the celebration of World Tsunami Awareness Day in collaboration with the United Nations system. World Tsunami Awareness Day was an effort by Japan due to its repeated exposure to the extremely devastating natural hazard. Just three weeks after the Indian Ocean tsunami in December 2004, governments around the world adopted the 10-year Hyogo Framework for Action, a global agreement on disaster risk reduction. He also designed the Indian Ocean Tsunami Warning and Mitigation System which monitors seismic and sea-level events to alert the National Tsunami Information Centers. Since the end of the Hyogo Framework for Action in 2014, Governments have adopted the Sendai Framework for Disasters.
