Grand programme organized on World Children's Day and 105th Aaniversary of establishment of Girls school by Mahatma Gandhi, Kasturba Gandhi in Historical Bhitiharwa Ashram.

Mahatma Gandhi and Kasturba Gandhi had given the world the Message of Social Harmony, Cleanliness,Good Health, women education, freedom from Child Marriage and Various Social evils. Today, on November 20, 2022, A Grand programme was organized on World Children's Day and the 105th Aaniversary of the establishment of school for girls by Mahatma Gandhi, Kasturba Gandhi in the Historical Bhitiharwa Ashram. Tributes were paid to the founders of United Nations, freedom fighters and two Immortal Child Martyrs of Bettiah West Champaran District, shahid Jagannath Puri and Bhikhari Koiri, who laid down their lives as Child freedom fighters in India's freedom Movement. On this occasion, International Peace Ambassador Co-Secretary General Satyagraha Research Foundation Dr. Ajaz Ahmad Advocate, Dr. Suresh Kumar Agarwal Chancellor Pragyan International University Jharkhand, Dr. Shahnawaz Ali, Dr. Amit Kumar Lohia, Senior Advocate Shambhu Sharan Shukla, Social Worker Navindu Chaturvedi, Paschim Champaran Kala Manch Convener of Shaheen Parveen, Dr. Mehbobur Rahman and Dr.

Salam, editor of Al Bayan, jointly said that Kasturba Gandhi and the women of Champaran played an important role in the social awakening Campaign of Mahatma Gandhi during the Champaran Satyagraha. Mahatma Gandhi along with Kasturba Gandhi and the residents of Champaran established school at the Bhitiharwa Ashram in Champaran on 20 November 1917 at the time of Champaran Satyagraha to give a New direction to the social awakening and public awareness Campaign. Also the class Began Kasturba Gandhi and the women of Champaran made Immense Contribution in this programme. Mahatma Gandhi and Kasturba Gandhi established the girls school of Champaran with the main objective of how to create awareness among people for National Harmony, Cleanliness, Health, abolition of child Marriage and freedom from various social evils. Mahatma Gandhi had reached Champaran after hearing about the plight of farmers and residents of Champaran. Champaran Satyagraha proved to be a milestone for the Indian freedom struggle. Within almost 30 years, India became free from British slavery on 15 August 1947. On this occasion, the speakers said that World Children's Day is Celebrated all over the world on 20 November is Celebrated. World Children's Day was first Celebrated in 1954 as Universal Children's Day. 20 November is an attempt to promote international solidarity, Create awareness among Children around the world and bring awareness at the social level for their welfare. On 20 November 1959, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Child. Since 1990, the United Assembly has advocated for celebrating November 20 as World Children's Day on a large scale. Speakers on the occasion said that the lives of children are unsafe today. Corona infection has changed Human life in the last 2 years. In the past, Satyagraha Research Foundation, Kailash Satyarthi Foundation, Bachpan Bachao Andolan and many organizations associated with them have realized that the lives of boys and girls are not safe. We have come across many incidents like child sex trade, Child abuse, Cross border Child trafficking, Child labor, Child Marriage and Domestic violence outside India from the border states of India. These figures are worrying. Many Cases of Domestic violence on boys and girls have come to light, which is a matter of Concern for the Civilized Society. These incidents can be stopped only through social awareness and public consciousness. Satyagraha Research Foundation, Kailash Satyarthi Foundation, Bachpan Bachao Andolan and many organizations are running public awareness campaign to eradicate this social evils in Bapu's Karm Bhoomi Bettiah West Champaran. We hope that in the days to Come we will be able to fulfill the dream of Bapu, Kasturba Gandhi, immortal martyrs, freedom fighters and our forefathers for a prosperous India.
